STAGE III Lost Experimental 455-4 Bolt Main Block.

Tomorrow will be a week since those POS Cowards crushed Roberts face and rib cage in.
Saw him a couple hours ago. Still in Neuro ICU under another name so they don't try and finish the job with a nurse sitting in the room.
Guy never hurt anyone, he was old school when it came to work and spoke his mind BUT nobody ever got hurt BECAUSE he didn't screw around, I play around a lot on this site because I have been through more than I want to share and I would rather laugh than be a stuck up,high brow tool but like a drill Sgt. I appreciate old school no BS when at work. We watched each other's backs for over 25 years, we WERE the grunts but we still had good times when on break.Waitresses LOVED him,our part suppliers LOVED him, he poked along in his old $900 70's F-100 truck and now he is laying there still hooked up to all sorts of crap and his face is as black as a black trash bag and staples are holding his skin to his head.
    I don't understand it guys...........

I totally hear you Lucas, I was just kinda shell shocked and stumbled on here seeing what I have been missing. Stayin strong, laughing when I can with close friends.
Definitely one of those "what can I say" quiet agreements I know is there even now though and I will help him however I can and just see what Gods will is. My will is to torture those SOB's for like a year.
Ppreciate you Lucas and my other buddies, I know you are there
Keep prayin or whatever you do for Robert please

I can’t help but wonder why. What was the reason?

Yup, I had seen that a few years back..They laugh about US prison system and how we handle and coddle are inmates and it's true..
The worst of inmates in Russia don't even dare complain about the beating the guards give them. Two wrongs don't make a right I know, but there's exceptions to the rules and this punks should be beaten and I wish could be sent to there system..
John, still haven't heard if the authority's know who these guys are?

Prayers sent to Robert for a full recovery Mr Fritzy.

Could it of possibly been a resurgence of "the knock out game"? As if you didn't have enough to worry about walking the streets of a city...

Have you ever been in a maximum security prison? I have been there in the USA but not Russia. Coddling is hardly an accurate description. Hell on earth would be closer to the truth.

No, and hopefully never. just couple overnight lockup's in police jails.
Your right, coddle wasn't the right term. From what iv'e watched yes it's brutal in the US and what go's on behind the scene's with the guard's I don't know?

I appreciate your well wishes and prayers for Robert. He made it through neuro ICU,brain swelling went down to normal, then a regular room for a few days and has now been transferred to a rehab place in Charlotte and says he really wants to go back to work but then his body reminds him he isn't Superman yet. The police investigator told us they used a pipe or bat on his face because of the tell tale pooling of blood impressions in his face when they arrived and he had passed out after somehow making the 911 call on his nearly vacant street.
Tried to call him today but they had already taken him to his normal dialysis and that is bad even if you haven't been beaten within a milimeter of your life.
Anyhow just wanted to give an update, they still haven't caught the perps, seems he went to the ATM after dialysis and the police think they followed him home. Robert managed to kick both of them in the jewels during the attack but that probably only escalated the beating, now hearing he still had his wallet but also hearing his $100 was missing so robbery? Seems odd to me they didn't just take the whole wallet but I guess if they used a credit card there might be security pictures of them anywhere they went and I am sure they thought he was dead.
Either way, very glad he pulled through and isn't curled up hiding in a corner or something but am sure he will be having terrible nightmares and some civilian PTSD.
Again thanks for your prayers and all guys.

    Sincerely,

    John

Glad to hear he is doing better. Problem is if they catch the guys they will get a minimum time in jail because they had a tough life. Sorry, but I am tired of the bleeding hearts going on about they were good people, just had a problem, yada yada yada. Our legal system just keeps letting them back out into society. Officer was killed in Mass by a guy who had 111 priors. Whats wrong with that picture. Hope this doesn't make you thread political. If so I will delete.

I totally agree Fred, I was taking criminal justice classes when I saw the writing on the wall and the revolving door. Risk your life dealing with the dreadges of life only to see them back on the street days later or keeping your cool with someone who just beat a baby, wife or elderly or anyone like Robert?
That's when I bowed out of that pursuit because I know I would have snapped big time. I have MAJOR respect for our officers and their families that live thankless lives until one of them is killed most times. Anytime my wife and I see them come into a restaurant I give them my respect as they pass by and then we quietly pay for their meals.
Whether military or police officers we owe them a LOT

Well Robert is still in rehab in a wheelchair, but thank God alive and that's a praise.
Our family business I had to leave after it drained my family dry due to no pay years ago has no mechanic with Robert out. I did what I could for a week and a half in his place until all my disabilities hauled me down but bought some breathing room for my brother and saved a big sale for him. I initially had thoughts I could go back & work together but my multiple injuries and brother being 69 says no.
In addition to Robert my father-in-law is dying of advanced Parkinson's and my poor wife between work and traveling to them has run herself into the ground (along with her Mom who isn't well) and my wife is now sick (Stage 3 cancer survivor) and I have been doing any and all I can do to help her and her parents.
Our puppy (Muffin) we got when my wife was diagnosed with cancer 13 years ago has cancer too now(tumor is ulcerating the skin it's so huge). She wouldn't eat or go outside and I don't even have a car to drive her to the vet till someone comes home from work or school not that she can be saved or anything anyway).
Really feeling defeated and although no one has ever seen it I am about to bust down into tears as I walk back and forth from my truck I am trying to get running again (computer is shot)I shouldn't even have this damned "GSX" but I thought it was such a miracle how God dropped it in my lap that He was using it to get me out of the recliner that I was basically slowly dying in,with zero passion.
Will be 29 years this year that my wife and I have been married and I give thanks for her and the family we have been blessed with but with my Dad dead a long time ago,father-in-law can barely speak and all of the crushing medical bills I am struggling VERY VERY hard to keep my head up. I was taught old school to "pull yourself up by your boot straps" but is hard to do alone. I know God is still with me but I really cannot take much more as the things listed above are a pebble in the pond of the other things we dog paddle in to stay above water so I didn't need someone motoring up and handing me a few more 50lb bags of concrete to try stay above water with. Just have to resist the thoughts of giving up and would appreciate your prayers because I am way way down right now. I appreciate you guys on here more than you know, even if the car never runs I have been blessed with some great friends. God bless all of you.

    Yours most sincerely,

    John

    Dear John,

I cannot begin to imagine what your burden must be like. All I know is that you need to know that yes, you are among friends here and that you are safe in expressing your pain and frustration. Your friend Robert is blessed to have you as is the rest of your family. It sounds to me like you are the kind of person we would all like to call friend.
