I have 2 clocks for the dash that fit a 67 Skylark. I need to know how to hook them up to be tested. I want to do this before installing. Any Ideas? :Do No:

    Thanks

    Clock test

I just put my clock back in my '67 GS, to test it all I did was hook it up to a 12 volt source. Positive wire to the plug in and ground to the case. It worked just fine.

I use a battery charger set to low amperage. Red wire to blade on back of clock, and black wire to the case. If the clock won't run, remove the back and apply a small drop of oil to the staffs where they come through the plates. If it won't tick, then it has a mechanical problem. If it won't rewind when powered, it's an electrical problem, and probably best used for parts. Hope this helps.Dan
