I followed Tom's instructions and all went well. One tip I can pass on is how to maintain the passage to block drain. For left side simply cut 3/8 x 3/8 x 4" strip of styrofoam and wedge/tape so as to connect drain hole and rear freeze plug hole. For right side a couple styrofoam packing peanuts stuffed into internal cavity worked great- since much lower block floor to drain distance. Then fill to low of freeze plug hole with filler & after set up time (24 hrs) simply use an eye dropper and dribble gasoline onto foam and it will disappear leaving nice passage in place.

Excellent I was thinking of somehow putting a drain in the frost plug but this way better and simpler ...Thank-you

Sorry, I forgot to mention how to maintain the original drain holes guys. It's rough getting old. The ole memory just doesn't retain all it used to. Maybe, just to much garbage up there. LOL

Personally, I would wait at least 48 hours before pouring the other side, just to be sure everything has set (knocked the 1" thick "block" out of my mixing bucket after 20 hrs and the bottom was still tacky)
