I'm looking for a pair of Clean front "Drum Brake Spindles". I need a pair from a '67-'72 Chevelle, '67-'69 Camaro, or '68-'74 Nova. BOP spindles aren't the same as those listed and won't work for my application. I would like to find a pair that have no damage, .... as in pickle fork gouges, elongated ball stud holes, damaged steering arm holes, galled bearing and or grease seal surfaces, thread damage, bent, pitted machine surfaces, etc.
I'm looking for standard height spindles only.
Most OEM Disc Brake conversion kits come with their own spindles, .... so this would be a good time to recover a few dollars back by selling the old ones.

Actually I'm not going to be installing drum brakes. I would like the drum spindles to use with my New Wilwood 6-Piston Front Disc Brake Kit. I could use the disc brake spindles that I have, but I never like using the supplied spacer at the upper 5/8"-18 bolt location when we install the Wilwood Kits. The drum brake spindles have a longer boss up top so no spacer is necessary.

    Thanks,
    Larry

I had a line on a local set that fell through (they were rough), so I'm still looking.

If you have a clean set to sell please "PM" me with your response.

    Thanks Brian,
He has already passed on mine. Not right size anchor hole.

I found out the spindles have to be from a '68-'72 Chevelle, '67-'69 Camaro, or a '68-'74 Nova. Those are the only spindles with the large 5/8-18 threaded top anchor hole that will work for my application.

I now have my chassis with the complete front drum brakes, unmolested. It is a 71-72 chassis,if it matters. What do you need pictures of?

Brian & Joe, Thanks for your replies. I am attaching a couple photos of the exact spindles I am looking for. The upper boss has a recessed threaded portion that accepts a 5/8-20 bolt, ..... and that boss itself is 1/2" longer than a disc brake spindle.

I wonder if that casting number will tell me that without tearing it all apart? I’ll try tonight.
