Can a small spot on a bumper be repaired without re-chroming the entire bumper? The spot is about 3/16 by 3/8. Thanks for your thoughts Jim
I don't think so There is a item called chrome pen or chrome liquid pen it works great I use it on my wheels that have spots were chrome has peeled. Let me see if I can find it.
That pen is made by MOLOTOW. Now available at Hobby Lobby for about 10.00 If the chrome is off down to the steel or just down to the nickel plate, youll need to take a small stone on a dremel and clean it back into shiny steel to the clean chrome. Run the grinder in a direction so it doesnt "lift" any more chrome or before ya know it you'll have the whole bumper stripped! Run the wheel so it "pulls" away from the chrome edge. You want to feather edge it. Youll forget the repair and never see it! https://www.google.com/search?sourc...hUKEwjIpMuspo3nAhVTCM0KHaz7DUYQ4dUDCAg&uact=5

Thanks for the money saving tip. My wife will be thrilled as she refers to the GSX as the "Money Pit"
Hawken!!! Thank you for the 40% off tip for Hobby Lobby! I needed one of those chrome pens to touch up interior parts inside my car. You saved me over four dollars today thank you very much. I will drink a beer to you today!
What about me??? I found these things FIVE years ago and promoted them here... now my feelings are hurt.
