Ok folks I need some interior help please.

    1) When installing a carpet on a 72 Skylark convertible i can't seem to get the carpet to lay flat and smooth where it turns up and over underneath the rear seat. Any suggestions?

    2) how does the carpet go at the bottom of the windlace? Just flush as it doesn't look like it will go under the windlace...

    3) is this old windlace installed correctly? For some reason I do not remember it being tucked inside/under the upper door panel.

Thanks for your help, advice and tips!

When installing new, I typically mark the edge where the seal plate and rear side panels cover the carpet with a piece of tape. I cut the carpet so that the edge is covered by the seal plate and goes under the windlace. That's how I do it. I use molded carpet, so there usually aren't wrinkles in the back.

thanks. I think I bought a molded carpet. It's formed around the tunnel and foot areas... Anyone have any other tips/advice?
