What this means is that we now have a few less options on how to get this done from now on If you want a quick ratio conversion done to your box that is not a factory quick ratio you will have to pay the $80 dollar core charge. you can avoid the 80 dollar core charge by sending me your quick ratio core first and we can rebuild it please make sure you check if your box is a 3 turn quick ratio before you send it back as a core you will not get a core refund for a 4 turn box and you will have to pay the shipping back if you want it back we can still rebuild the box with out the quick ratio conversion just a stock rebuild for 100 I will no longer be able to take the 4 turn boxes as a good core. If you have not returned the core that you bought from me in the past you have un till september 2016 to return it to get the core charge back. That is the only way I will take the none factory quick ratio box back as a core. If you can return them sooner please do. Even with the core charge I have seen the boxes going between $300.00 - $380.00 I wish we had more conversion kits but we sold over 1000 of them One thing I need to mention is most 70-72 cars already came with the quick ratio 3 turn option so for the ones that already have it it will just be a rebuild now for the 64-69 guys this will be one of the best up grades you can do I get a steady supply of cores but I am always low. My 71 GS power steering is been quite sloppy. If I upgrade to the faster box, is the feel any different? There's a guy here in town that says he can give it a firmer feel than the 1 finger turn that the cars came with when new. More of a luxury feel than a performance feel. Thanks! The boxes I sell are factory rebuilt. It will take care of the slop but I would not know what to compare it to as far as firmness. I have only driven cars with factory quick ratio and standard ratio and besides the turning they feel the same. sorry wish I could be of more help. I have sold a few hundred boxes and almost had 3 returned so far. two had leaking hoses that were not replaced when installed and one had a dust shield that had a small crack. other than that everybody has been happy. you get 80 back if you return a 3 turn box back and if its a 4 turn box you get 40 back. it will cost you 18.75 to send it back. Hector
