    Hi!!!
    Does anyone know if a 1964 3665 CARTER AFB BUICK 425 will fit a 1965 425 engine???
To me, it looks the same and hopefully i will be able to use it...
    Thanks

The biggest difference will be in the linkage set up. The kickdown set ups are very different from 64 to 65 because of the switch pitch. You may need to change the bracket/lever for the kickdown from your 65 to the 3665.

Yea like larry said. They are jetted the same so It will run, but since 64 has the dynoslow and the 65 has the switch pitch you will have to change out the throttle linkage plate, or fab something.

The 64 has an ST 400, not a dynaflow. It is not a switch pitch though.

When i checked on www.carbs.net homepage, the 3665 is listed to fit any 425 between 1963-65...
I also have 3 pictures of the carb and if i remember correct, the linkage setup looks very similar as the one from 65...
Please take a look at the pictures on Ebay, here is the item nr:

I guess that the carb to the left is the one from 1964...
It does look like the one i bought on Ebay...
Is the throttle linkage plate interchangeable between the 2 carbs or do i have to rebuild it completely???

The plate is pressed to the shaft. You could pull it of and press it on the new one, or just switch shafts. I'd do the latter.
