Anybody deal with him? Seems to have a good rep on ebay, but thought I'd ask! :puzzled:

I've never dealt with him directly, but I have bid on some of his carburators on eBay. Never won any, though. They look fantastic.

One thing that he is doing that I don't care for is that he is restamping carbs with ID numbers of more rare carbs. He is setting up the carbs with the proper jets, hangers, etc. But he is not saying in his auctions that the carbs have been restamped.

In the past few weeks he has had a few 70 & 71 Stage 1 quadrajets on auction and they were restamped. As long as they are set up properly they should work the same as an original Stage 1 carb. I just think he should tell the bidders that the numbers have been changed.

As a matter of fact, he used to do that, but now I've noticed he leaves that out. When he has an original carb he says its original but on the restamped ones he just says what number is on it.

A few months ago he had a 71 Stage 1 carb on eBay and he said it wasn't original, that the numbers were ground off and it was restamped as a Stage 1. It was also set up exactly like a 71 Stage 1 quadrajet. But now he doesn't say that.

What do you guys think? Is this good, bad, or whatever:Do No:
