I don't see what the problem would be as long as every image was linked off another site instead of being uploaded. No space used on the v8buick server at all. o No:

 

They make this a mandatory rule for posting pics on the ImpalaSS site. You can't upload any pics to their server. They've got to be uploaded from somewhere like www.photobucket.com. It always runs fast too.

yes, but you're still burning up both upstream and downstream bandwidth to v8buick.com as well as unnecessarily burdening the server cpu.

and besides, JW may be benevolent, but he's still a dictator ... private property rights suck, don't they. :grin:

 

The pictures load off another site, the only bandwidth being used is the user's and the other site's. Yes, Jim is the dictator but if using his bandwidth was his only concern, there's no need for said concern.

That is not my only concern.

Just last night, some clown decided it was ok to post a link from the board here to his porn site. This thread no doubt encouraged him to do that, seeing a potential new customer base.

Not where we need to go.. and I and the mods have better things to do than fight of the porn industry.

This thread is now locked, so it can slide into history.
