I really like those Lincolns; my folks had an '86 Continental (when they were RWD 5.0s, essentially a four door Mark VII). The only caution other than the above marketability vs. the truck is the Lincoln's technology. It has four corner air suspension (which can be 'deleted' with aftermarket stuff) and has an early ABS system that we had expensive trouble with in the late '80s. I don't know about servicing/replacing it. They're great driving cars though.

Trucks been for sale for months with little interest. I keep putting more into it just because I can. Its become a dependable work horse. Only 2 things left to fix is the cruise and the horn.

    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

I'd do the trade. Those Lincolns are basically 5.0 Mustangs underneath. Have the H.O. 302 and same Fox body chassis. You can even do the 5 speed swap fairly straight forward.
