What do you guys use to protect your car from the sun. I've heard some car covers are actually bad keeping in condensation. I was on a drive at work and seen a house with cars covered in some big green tarp, reminded me of a military tarp. What do use use or recommend?.
    Thanks, Ronnie

Also, check into Covercraft, the last several I have bought from them. They have a couple excellent choices for outdoor use that have worked very well for me.

Either company is good. Both have covers that breath and do not allow condensate to build up. One note - if it is windy the cover can flap and damage the paint. Two note - the car stays clean but the cover gets dirty. Be prepared when you take it off. I usually have someone help me so we can keep the car clean and shake it after its off. When the cover gets really dirty take it to a laundry mat and use a commercial machine.

Don't know how windy it gets where you're at Ronnie, and I don't have a brand recommendation, but to hold mine down on my Cadillac I got some heavy floor mats that I set on it for windy days (two each on the hood, roof, and trunk). They don't slide around, and if they do, they won't scratch the car especially through the cover. They also don't mess up the cover.

It gets really windy here everyday. So much so that i don't want to put up a tent over the cars because it might fly away with out staking it properly

I got a Noah cover from the Griot's website, works great in rain or sun. It works well to keep the rain off, and is made of breathable material to let excess moisture out.
