Search "1970 GS 455 Chassis Details" thread on here. I think this is the link
    http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1970-gs-455-chassis-details.242093/

I'm restoring a 70 Stage 1 and have been looking through those pages for some tips. I think I saw some pictures of the motor.

I'd share my motor, but not sure how correct it is. I've learned it is a 1976 Buick 455 motor. The previous owner did some swapping, just don't know if he swapped the motor and all the 76 brackets or did some moving of 70 motor brackets to the 76 motor.

I may actually have an AC bracket from I pulled 15 years ago from a Riviera 455 motor in my garage. I'll have to look

You want the top or bottom mount. Mine is steel. Upper arm too? ws

I do not know how to put picture's here, but I can tell you that both AC and non AC cars have a aluminum bracket for 70 and earlier cars.70 and earlier Riviera's AC have the aluminum bracket, but it seats a little higher then the GS bracket. Bruno.

Well, here comes a bunch of pictures. The dirty parts are from a 70 455 Lasabre motor I got about 10 years ago from the junk yard. The cleaned and painted brackets are from the Riveria I mentioned. Believe it was 71 455, also pulled from a junkyard. That was about 15 years ago. Glad I had the insite to make cardboard cutouts of how it went. No I phone back then :) The motor pic is from my 70 GS but it’s From a 76 Buick (thinking Regal). It shows the alternator bracket.
