full weight GS. Turbo 400 with TSP 9.5 inch converter. Jim saying will flash to approx 3500. Car has a built 10 bolt, 3:42 gears, built control arms, air bag etc
Thinking 470 or 482 stroker, TA stage 2 SE heads, 10.8 or so to 1 compression.....fortunately we can get 94 octane up here. Assuming some porting etc....my goal for the car is high 11’s......

    Any ideas on roller cam?

TA 413HLR would be a good candidate.

Have a new/similar build and am running the TA413HLR. Car runs pretty good but haven't had it on track yet. Also hoping to get into the 11's.

With what you say you are building. It will be hard to slow it down to high 11s.
That should run very low 11s at or near sea level I would expect. I’d be gunning for high10s or bottom 11s.

I got confidence in you and your plan.
I’ve gone 12.30 w literally very mild combo on a 73 block and heads.

We had a totally stk bottom 430, literally right from the junk yard, only change the oil pan and gaskets on the block, port iron heads, sp1, close to 1000 cfm 4150, 4000ish flash, small custom bring crowder cam, not much over 500 lift but lots of duration, we went 11.30, with 4.10s and slicks at 3850lbs

Thst motors sounding the 10s to me even with as cast heads

Mike - what are the specs on the TA413 HLR cam? It’s not listed on the website. Thanks

It's in their catalog, which is more current than their website. You can download the catalog from the site, it's a PDF. Anyway, the specs are: .592-237' /.594- 249' ,113' standard fire order.

Larry, so the cam you currently have is a tad less? Still 602 hp......maybe I should be going that route? Was that a custom grind?
