Jeez, I said it was a joke.

But really who has posted more actual results from their build?

I've never claimed mine is the only way to build an engine. Just telling what was done and posting the results. A simple build that runs well.

And I'm not afraid to put my name in my post.

I didn't take any offense, I was joking along with it.
    I don't use the sarcasm font. :)

All of the builds here are great.
My comments on modern tech weren't meant to bash anyone, more to steer the newbie towards the fact that the SBB is a platform that can achieve great results despite lack of aftermarket support in the form of bolt on kits, and that the obstacles to said performance aren't from lack of modern tech.
They are already good breathers that have yet more room for improvement.

This seems to be pretty much 'it' in a nutshell.

You can give tech advice all you want, but if no one really knows you or what you're capable of, the only REAL thing they have to go on is real-world results, shown with pictures, videos, and/or dyno/strip results, proving your combination of parts and tricks were effective.

I say this with all due respect to everyone who contributes valuable knowledge and advice here. Most people want to see proof...or at the very least, the proof certainly validates one's claims.

This goes for me especially, who needs to do more proving than talking. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Once you can prove a thing or two, then people will be more inclined to show respect, and take your words more seriously.

This is why I'm now referring to myself as the peanut gallery--for now. :)

As far as 'proving' anything that already has evidence, it's rather moot. Sharing factual information is fun and rewarding, whether it came directly from you or from another source or sources.

Still, it's nice to see real results from more people, and will add to our knowledge base.

    Thank you.

Here's another one, same lift but less duration and a little wider lobe intensity. A bit gentler on the valvetrain with an even earlier IVC point for use with low comp stock engines.

Kinda similar to the Crower level 2, but with more exhaust emphasis for use with manifolds and smaller exhaust systems. Works well with a big 2 barrel, and even better with 9-9.25:1 SCR.

I'll refrain from posting actual power numbers, as no one would believe me anyway. lol
