As I'm sure most know with the Full size Buick you can't find a simple disc conversion without the use of a conversion kit unless you can somehow find the stock fit spindles that don't demand an outrageous price. So I've been looking for a way to do disk conversion for my 66 Lesabre that looks as close to a stock set up as possible. I know it was not an option for the year so I would be looking for a set from a later model B Body. In my search I've come across the Chevy (I Know I Know) swap with the C3 Vette spindle rotor set up. Basically from what I've gathered it's as simple as using the rear rotors for the 68-83 vette. They bolt onto the disk spindle with a shim. Only difference in the rotors is the emergency brake cable mount which you don't bother with. Anyone had success with this on the Buicks?

X2. I used scarebird for my 63 Riviera. Purchased everything on the provided list from rock auto for under $600 and it was a relatively simple conversion. The dual master cylinder was the hardest part.

There is a late C3 Corvette at the West El Paso U pull it yard. Latest of three 78 - 82's that have been in there in last two years. Still had the rear rotors, calipers, and spindles as of last week. Front spindles were still there, too. Finally, have a pair of hubs from these cars, also.
