Burnout RPM

    Everyone has their idea, few things I try to do. First I just drive through the water and do not spin the wheels in the water like some and some tracks motion for you to do it. That puts water up in the wheel wells that likes to drip on your tires while you are staging. I actually always go up farther than the guy directs me. It does not take much water for a Buick to do a burnout. Start in 2nd and as soon as tach goes by 5500 pull it into 3rd, then release line lock and let the car pull its self to the line at 6000 or so. Always get away from any water before letting off gas. Don't want to track someone else's water to the line. The idea is have tires clean and dry. I'm always first car to the line. Always do the same thing and never have a traction issue.
