I was watching TV yesterday and in one of the new GEICO commercials, they are saying "Do dogs chase cats?" and there's a car chase scene with a dog driving what I believe is a Skylark of some sort. It looks like a scene from a movie and they superimposed the dog and cat into the cars.
Last Night I was watching Thunder Road . Robert Mitchum and his son star. Lots of hot rod Fords. But I saw; Parked in a Garage A 1956 Buick. And,; a different 1956 Buick Super 2 door driving down the street.
There was a short lived series called life on mars (American version) where someone put a bomb in a 65 Wildcat and blew it up. Very disturbing! Also in the second season of the fugitive, Richard Kimble drives his boss's car a 64 Riv. For a Quin Martin production, (Sponsered by Ford) I see a lot of Buicks.
In the new nick cage movie that was in theaters a couple weeks ago he is driving a riv. in the first 5 mins.
Check out a movie called "CROSSING THE BRIDGE" about a group of guys going into Canada to pick up some drugs. The one works at a Buick dealer and there are a few shots of the used car lot full of Buicks.

In the first part of the movie "Sugarland Express"(1974) , Goldie Hawn rides in a '56 Roadmaster 4dr hardtop, steals it from the elderly owners,gets chased by the cops and crashes it. "The Getaway"(1972), a '65 Buick LeSabre 4dr is used as part of a bank heist by actor Al Lettieri . Don Johnson movie "The Hot Spot" (1990) has a yellow '53 Skylark make a brief appearance. Watched 8MM, about some kids makeing a home movie, a train crashed letting out an alien. Had a 69 Skylark, Yellow with black racing stripes, pretty neat till he rear ended a park car.
