I don’t understand your point here I’m not changing anything it already has a 700r4 transmission to a transfer case to a driveline that is already there only thing I have to do is put in the adapter plate and motor mounts confused

The SBB has different dimensions from a SBC and I think you will have a real pain trying to get the SBB exactly in the right place where you get the front and rear drivetrains all matched up - unless you start getting custom driveshafts made and all that. It's probably not impossibly difficult, but is it worth the pain when you can just drop a a SBC right in? Even that adapter plate will move the trans back a little.

adapter is 30 bux at Speedway..

ive put more buick motors in chevy trucks than you could imagine..my favorite swap is a 300 in a square S10..they fit well, and look like they belong there..so a 350 in a full size truck would be a cake walk..i used the skylark frame mounts and stock motor mounts...drilled a couple holes on each side and the rest was just bolting it together...

its 39 bux..it went up 5..it works both ways..listed for a chevy to Pontiac...I just made it work..worked with no issues..350 buick motor to a 350 chevy turbo..i tig welded 2 nuts on it for the chevy bell..its just holes..nothing threaded..since it uses the dowl pins to to align it..it isn't rocket science..worked very well..ive used them in a dozen swaps at least..ive bolted the adapter to the trans and slide it on..the lower 4 bolts and dowel pins are in the same place for Chevy-BOP..its the uppers that are moved..simple..i just made it work

I also use them to convert Oldsmobile blocks..on later model 455s there is no provision for a bell crank pivot..I tig a bracket to it and run it to another bolt on the block to place the ball stud..ive done 3

its .125 thick..its milled too...everywhere I measured it it was consistent
