I have for sale my set of (4) Buick Super Sport steel wheels. From what I've learned about them, they were a 1971-only option and nearly identical to Oldsmobile SS wheels. I've decided to take my project in a different direction, and I'll be running 15" wheels. These have been restored. They're in very nice shape, freshly painted, and ready for the tires of your choice. If you want to stand out from the crowd, these are a great choice.

Asking price is $450 plus shipping OBO. Located on Long Island, NY.

    Thanks for looking!

Well, Christmas has come and gone but I still need to move these. Any interest at all?

    Bump... Anybody out there?

Now willing to trade for and 1970 GS grille conversion parts. I have a 1971 and I'm looking to convert the front end of the car to a 1970. Thanks!

    Back up top.

I'm starting to think no one can even see this thread... Someone post a random picture of George Michael in full makeup or something so I know other human beings can read this.

I had them on my 71 GS455. People used to ask why I had Olds wheels on it. Unless someone is restoring a car to factory condition, and it came with those wheels which are missing, then there's probably not a lot of interest. Unfortunately they're a 14" wheel, and most people want 15's too. They're rare, but not really desirable.

    Haha! I like that!

I'm realizing now that the rarity of these doesn't equate to them being particularly valuable. I know that I paid $400 plus shipping for these, and I just hope I can recover as much of that as possible. This is a really nice set. Hopefully someone out there needs them or wants to be different. Thanks for the George Michael pics! Got your attention, a least, right? :D

So are these 14 x 6? or 14 x 7? Are they suppose to be painted at all or just bare like that? and are these designed for trim rings?
Wondering if they will even work on a disc brake car?

They are 14x6. They were painted "argent" by Buick. The closest match is the darker of the two colors on a Pontiac Rally II wheel. They came with trim rings originally as well. They will work with disc brakes. I have a set that I restored if you want to see what they look like painted. Only 1685 GS's total came with them in 1971 and only 50 in 72 according to the DCR's

Everything above is correct :) these are 14x6 and they are NOT bare metal in the photos I posted. They were blasted and painted argent silver.
