Buick Riviera GS in 1970 the model with 2-door fastback coupe body

Specifications listing performance factory data and ProfessCars™ estimation: this Buick would accelerate 0-60 mph in 6.8 sec and quarter mile time is 15.1 sec.1970 Buick Riviera GS

    Engine specifications GM Buick Big-Block V-8 455, Displacement: 455.7 cui/ 370 HP

    Torque gross: 510 ft-lb

Basic dimensions Length: 215.5 in, Width: 79.3 in, Height: 53.6 in, Wheelbase: 119 in

Owner of this beautiful 1970 Buick Riviera GS, (built to bring back the memories of his first car of the same year, make and model), recently started a new business and decided to release it to someone who has more time to drive and appreciate its unique combination of style and performance. The car is located in Springboro, Ohio. This body style was fleetingly produced for one year only, as a transition model between the iconic 60's and 70's boat tail styles. Only 3,500 GS models were produced, adding to the allure and value. Looking around the unique lines of this pristine car, you will notice rich details from a bygone era. Notably, the beefy chrome bumpers, trim bezel, rear wheel fender skirts as well as the signature Riviera marker lights. This Riviera has it all in terms of aesthetics. At over 215 inches long, these Buicks are literally the definition of a Land Yacht and walking to the hood from the trunk will feel like going on a day hike. This Riviera presents itself stunningly in a black PPG basecoat/clear coat paintjob with a subtle charcoal gray trim accent and black vinyl roof that isn't overbearing like some of the vinyl and landau tops out there, giving this car just enough 70's vibe to stand out. Inside, the original dash, gauges and radio allow you to step into the past as you ease into the comfortable, roomy bucket seats. Powering this stout car is an equally large, 455 CID V8 that fills the entire engine compartment- and that takes some effort in a car with as much space as this Buick has. Backing the engine is a 3-speed TH-400 automatic transmission with shifter located on the column. This 1970 Buick Riviera for sale includes the following options: Bucket seats, Center Console, Seat Belts, Air Conditioning, Clock, AM/FM Radio, Power Brakes/Steering, Power Windows, Remote Mirror and Tilt Wheel. The rarity and uniqueness of this single-year production model, has made it highly sought after by collectors.

The '70 Rivs, when they're nice, have really grown on me after seeing several over the past few years. Unfortunately when they deteriorate, they look really bad. This one is stunning. Anyone know if that's the original color and whether Red Lines were an available option?

If that car is as good as the pictures, it would be quite the car.
I also would like to know if it is the original color etc.
A little pricey maybe, but go find another just like it.
