Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac event at Island Dragway Saturday October 10.

 

Gates open at 1pm

 

I'm there! I will definitely have to learn how to fold my chute. I'm told the shut down lane is short..

Weather looks promising for this Saturday. 63 and partly cloudy.

 

Just rechecked Islands website. Gates open up at 12 now.

 

Went to Island Dragway for the Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac event. Got rounded up by the Factory Stock Tire guys and wound up participating in their group. I lost first round but they had a consolation bracket and I won that. So even though I didn't participate in the actual BOP end of the event I think I still made the Buick brand somewhat proud. Either way I had fun and that's all that matters.

Good for you Jacob, glad you still had a good time. Was there a decent Buick turnout?
With the few Buick events around here I should have made the time to go to this. At the least I could have parked next to someone else's Buick. But work duty called this weekend. Hope the weather is good for the Atco event.

It was just me and one other Buick there. But I think he was just running test and tune. The weather on Saturday was about as perfect as you could get.
