Wish I had more time to cook. This job site I’m at in south Texas is nothing but the usual hours sometimes more. Work 7-5 6 days a week sometimes 7 and it’s an hour drive back to the apartment.
I go home in a few weeks, then I’ll be posting photos. I give the wife a break when I’m home.

Plan on Chicken Fricassee with saltine cracker dumplings this weekend. My Grandmothers recipe. To die for! But I still can't make it turn out like hers. I'm pretty sure she left something out in her recipe lol.

Brown some spiced ground beef and onion with brown sugar, add tortilla chips, tomatoes, avocado, cheese.

Bake at 400 for a few minutes, broil for a minute or so, and voilà!

Although yesterday was national tequila day, we are doing it today! A72D458E-5706-4E35-8814-3CF5F9BB81FE.jpeg
There has been tons of research done on the health benefits of humans consuming tequila. One of them is that it helps to boost immunity. Since yesterday was national tequila day, we have decided to extend that through the end of the month. Hope you all benefit from increased consumption of the nectar of the blue agave.

Rub thighs with olive oil and coat in Kick n' Chicken. Grill over charcoal with some hickory nuts and let the fire hit 'em a bit to get the skin crunchy. With two minutes remaining, coat in your favorite BBQ sauce. I make my own with a base of Kraft original, Texas Pete, butter, and red cayenne pepper. You can make the sauce as hot or as mild as you like.

Did some hasselback taters a few weeks ago... they were the bomb; but then again, Ive never met a chicken that died in vain either unless he was trying to beat a Buick to cross the road. Some fine lookin' BBQ there fellas! The breakfast stuff is makin' the juices flow too! YUMMM... ws

Howz about "Jiffy Pop ribs" ? Steamed with about 4-5 ice cubes and when done brazed on the grill with some Sweet Baby Rays sauce with COTC!

Haha! We were too busy chowing to take after pics! I gotta say this... when we were done there was nothing left but 3 cobs and a pile of white bones! My pal from Dwight, Il likes to cook! This deal actually inflated the foil bag and then poked with a forked HOT steam came hissing out! ws
