I was thinking that it would be nice if there was a Buick FAQ, similar to the Oldsmobile faq ( http://www.442.com/oldsfaq/oldsfaq.htm ) I'm sure most of you have come across it while looking for buick info. I've used it before to find genaric A-body information. I personally don't have the time, or really the experiance to put one together. But maybe some people would like to start one up. Possibally start a section on the board for people to post information, then a few people can review it, verify and collect it all into one FAQ file. Like I said I don't have the time to do it, expect for maybe suppling some information, but thought I'd introuduce the idea. -Nick
Done Here is the section guys, but I don't even begin to have the time to go thru the forums, and pull out and move all the threads. Mike, I made you the mod, and if you can round up a "crew" to help out on this, I will give them the proper permissions. It is a good idea. JW
MArco, if you ever need any sugestions for questions I would be MORE than happy to supply them to you :grin: . I dont exactly know many of the answers, but since I'm a Buick newbie, I can probably give you every one of the most frequently asked frequently asked questions. One suggestion I would have is a good how-to sort of thing on swapping 430 heads on a 455... pros, cons, procedures, etc. I imagine there have been countless posts here asking all those questions.... mine ebing one of them . All in all this FAQ section is a GREAT idea!
Cool idea. Is posting going to be somehow restricted in the FAQ so we don't get duplicates, cake recipes, or run into other problems?
I'll agree that would be helpful also. Jim, Thats an interesting avatar. 1990 Celebrate MN plate? Never saw one of those on the road, or heard of it before. Wish that plate site had MN Collector plates!
Great to see the ball is rolling!!! Hopefully over the next fe months or so we'll get enough info collected and start putting together an Offical FAQ file!
