Anybody that is within a days driving distance that didn't show up at this great event, did themselves and the "Buick community" a dis-service. It was a great event put on by a couple great family-s who "put it out there" for us Buick racers/enthusiasts. We the Buick faithfull have to show up at these events to let'm know we are still interested. The turn out wasn't bad for a first time event & of course the weather forecast could have been better but it turned out great. I certainly hope this becomes a yearly event & gains the support that it deserves......... I personally thank the Moore & Csordas families for hosting this event!!!

I need to add a special THANKS to the sponsors that donated/added to the cause & helping make this event a success.....

Well said John. I personally had an awesome time. I was able to drive my 73 from home to here, made a bunch of passes, and tomorrow I'll be driving it back home. The important thing though was being able to see and reconnect with everyone who made it out. I also would like to thank Denny, Renee, John Csordas, Nancy Csordas, and John Csordas Jr for getting this event together. I also hope that we can do this again next year. Such a great time with even more memories that were made.

Thanks to all that supported and donated to this event. We had a good time and it was nice to see many that we haven't seen in awhile. Special thanks to the Csordas and Moore family, without you we wouldn't have had this event! Y'all are awesome and hopefully next year will.be bigger and better.

Yes Fred I somehow got lucky enough on Friday and cut a .0000 reaction. I'll never be able to do that again.

I'm going to be 74 at the end of this month and I drove up to Ohio for 13 hours in the driving rain from South Carolina so I could support the efforts of the Csordases and the Moores who stepped up to the plate to add another event for the Buick people.
I saw cars from as far away as New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois, North Carolina, California, Canada, Virginia, etc., etc.

These two families took money from their own pockets, win lose or draw, to add an event to the calendar for all us Buick guys and gals to enjoy and OH BOY did they ever deliver.
This was a first time well run event with one theme in mind...........HAVING FUN RACING and BEING WITH OUR BUICK BUDDIES ! ! !

Thank you John Csordas, Nancy, Denny, Renee, and John Csordas Jr for putting this event on. a GOOD TIME was had by ALL. If we have it again next year....count me in.

If not for the time of year and the distance to travel I'd be at every one of these events with or without a car to race

Attention: I need the addresses for 3 of the quick 16 guys from the Buick Bash who I did not receive their qualifying shirts. Those guys are John Zerucha, Tim Gawlik (87 blue T-Type) & Mr. Eggers (69 cream Skylark). Please email me at johncsordas@optonline.net & I will mail them out. If you know any of them please pass the message on. Sorry for handing them out at the start of race. John Csordas

I wanted to take a minute and second all of the comments and compliments to the Csordases and Moores and everyone else involved in putting this event in gear.
It was an excellent event with a bunch of great people.

If you didn't make it this year do your best to carve out a couple days next year, you won't be sorry.

I finally got my 87 Regal all buttoned back up after freshening the engine and Trans, bolted on Rob's impressive intake and a new Pro Systems SV-1 carb and loaded up for this event. The last time we went down a track was at Cecil in 2017.

I'm gonna have to change my signature line because even after all that time I was able to dip into the 9's with my second run. Actually it was a 9.86 at only 130 because I didn't want to run it all the way out the back so I lifted. I was so excited about getting into the nines that I didn't get another clean run all weekend. ;)
It was an awesome feeling to have that car pull the wheels up so strong and yet set em down so easy because it was pulling so hard!! Track photographer just happened to miss it so if anyone happened to get a pic I'd love to see it!

Thanks again, for an awesome weekend. Congrats to the winners too!

Yeah Phil, that 1.33 60ft was great especially with little or no burnout....also track was slow...bad air/headwind......at least 2 tenths . Tough day to dial....
I was off .3 and 6 mph from a good day at Cecil. So alot more on the table buddy!

A big shout out to to Denny (and John) for making this happen!!!

I was first there 35 years ago for Supercar Showdown. Lots of improvements to be seen...great place.
Can't do anything about the hill but traction was perfect....didn't turn a tire all weekend.
Too bad my son Matt couldn't make it.....he "had" to go to a Lavender Festival in PA with his girlfriend...WTF???

I also wanted to thank Denny and John. Was a great event, and I hope it grows. Next year I will bring my GS so I can hang with the V8 guys.

Bruce any time you're heading to a track, let me know. I can't wait to see how much more is still on the table. Thanks for all of your help! Congrats on winning the V-8 class, you're a great racer; Super smart and Old Faithful-like consistency!!

Well said John, Huge thanks to John & Nancy, John Jr along with Denny and Renee!!!! Also to all others who helped make this a fantastic and hopefully an annual event!!!! And most of all to all those who attended and turning up their middle finger to the Rain Gods which gave us a great and dry weather for the event!! I'm back from the dead, hahaha with the help of the Csordas's and Doug Hecker from his relentless patented verbal abuse on not getting my car ready attended in time for this event, attending without my the car. But I did take a boattail load of videos and stills and will be posting them up. I'm hoping to see everyone again at the GS Nats! Just got to figure now on how to up load them all
