The sad thing is that's exactly what happens with a lot of addicts and old people. The addict convinces grandma to part with grandpa's old car in the hopes that he will cherish gramp's memory but the addict just wants to rip the old gal off and get the cash out of the old POS for the next score. It's a sad commentary on North American life.
The ad is gone, so he either got his cash and is injecting it as we sit here or grandma got smart and said "no". Either way, it's a lose-lose situation.
Hopefully that wasn't the case.
