I Seen a post and pictures on Facebook about these rare alum castings.

Does anybody know any history about these heads?

Look like an aluminum version of a 72/73 emissions head. They have the AIR pump holes in the intake side. They could of been an engineering exercise. Who knows. Just because they're aluminum, doesn't necessarily mean they were made for performance. They're rare for sure. Probably the only set out there, but what does that translate to in price? Again, who knows. They're definitely a conversation piece

Ya, I saw them on facebook, at the porting shop down south where they were ported. Definitely mid 70's heads, I would guess they were an engineering study to lighten the engine, to improve fuel economy. An iron head cast in alumium is what it is, so the only performance advantage or iron is weight.
