What is laughable is that I sell all this stuff which is a flat out lie. Check the board, check eBay, wherever you want. I probably have bought 100 things for every 1 I have sold. But that still has nothing to do with what you tried to do in this thread. You tried to beat the board rules and get these out from under me from a new member that didn't know any better.
"Gentleman", if i may interject, this isn't my fight, but since you're throwing these volleys on an open public forum, what the hay, right?? Why don't you guys take your barbs to email, pm, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, Morse code, or some other more direct communication instead of mucking up the board with bickering. Its been happening more lately and its getting old. We're losing some valuable assets in this community because of this type of thing, and there arent many of us to begin with. Look, something got screwy in this transaction, we get it. You guys buy a lot of parts, we get that too. But for the love of pete, its a set of used headers, not someone's mother's honor. Let's move on. Personally, I'm almost positive I've had dealings with all of you at one point or another and they've been nothing but pleasant. But this is just making you all look bad whether your in the right or the wrong. So just move on, more headers will appear I'm sure. This keeps up and we're gonna need to rename this site yellowbuick.com. Sheesh....
It is laughable just as laughable as you accusing me of selling parts for a profit on ebay.The bottom line is you paid 150 for a carb shipping included you sold it for 160 shipping not included thats 10 dollars more which is petty but it is a profit.Plus it took me a f weeks to get the fuel line which i needed.Then you made it sound like i was the bad guy for needing the fuel line that you called cheap which in fact was a 50 dollar setup.
Again not my fight either. When reading this it's like being at home with my kids (daughters) fighting. It's a set of headers................no one's life is at stake here. Unfortunately these things happen more than this 1 time. If I were the original poster I would delete the thread and put the headers back in garage. What an impression you guys made on the new member. Great Job! Please call it quits this stuff is wy childish and the same stuff if being repeated in this thread over and over. I'm out.
I agree Shawn and Brian. It's just being ganged up on accused for Something that is completely untrue bothered me, but you both are right, I should have just moved on. I apologized to the seller already and I hope we didn't ruin his experience with V8buick because for the most part there is a bunch of great guys here who help eachother out a lot. Again sorry to the seller and to anyone who has read this embarrassment. Big Joe
I'm still good with v8buick I don't scare off that easily. I am glad things seem to be calming down. I hate that I caused the mess in the first place.
