To answer your question, you can subscribe to threads and set up email notifications for when a thread is responded to. Its actually quite handy for selling things on the forum.
Herb get real. I don't need to sneak for silly 350 headers. You and Jay Bird hoard parts on here so you can re sell them for Profit while the rest of us try and get parts for our build. If you want we can talk about how shady you were buying parts from my Buddy by sending less then the agreed amount and trying to stiff him. You both are fakes just trying to make a dollar off of guys trying to build There Buicks. I've heard from several Buick guys that have been very unhappy with you Guys hoarding parts for profit so save it.
Yes i did get my fuel line finally.Joe you have no room to talk you sold me a carb for more money then you paid for it plus you tried to keep the fuel line.And for the people that know me know that i dont sell anything.Do a search on the foresale ads that i posted.I guarantee you have resold more parts then me.
True or not, I think that needs to be a whole separate thread, if you want to go that route. Personally, it is not against the rules, as I read them, to try to make a profit but I'm not a big fan of the whole ebay mentality of buying up everything that comes down the pike and reselling it later at a higher price with never an intention of using it.
I have 7 Buicks i need alot of parts.I very seldom sell anything.Herb also as lots of Buicks when he sells parts he sells them at very fair prices an dosn't over charge for shipping.He also goes out of his way to help board members.

I carb I sold u I bought for a very good price, tried it n it didn't work for my application so I sold if for the same Price with shipping. We all know you and Herb hoard parts for profit. Nobody has ever had a problem taking my money yourself included. I paid your buddy what he wanted and then shipping was more so I sent you 20 because he didn't have paypal. Nice attempt of trying to change the subject or diverting attention. This is about you trying to buy these out from under me as I have shown via the sellers pms. It doesn't matter if I have bought 20 sets I bought them all without backdooring people like you did today. Take accountability for your actions. I have never sold any parts on ebay.The carb that you sold me you paid 150.00 shipped.You sold it for 160.00 plus shipping which i think shipping was around 20.00.It took you awhile to ship it then when i got it the fuel line an gauge weren't in the box after several pms you finally got back to me an said that your shipping department forgot to put it in the box.After a few weeks of not receiving it i posted on your ad about it.You did finally send it.I know 10.00 profit is not much but it is more then what you paid for it plus it seems that you have your own shipping department at work so you didnt have to go out of your way to ship it.My user name on ebay is Jaybirdsbuicks i hardly ever log on to ebay.Plus Joe you bought your share of parts on here.Your just mad that you got busted trying to buy a set of headers out from under Herb site unseen.
It doesn't matter if Herb bought 1 or 1, 000 sets of headers before this sale .. if you jumped the line, which it appears you did, then YOU violated board rules .. off to the gallows !
Jay Bird this is laughable. I sold the carb for 10 bucks more to cover the shipping cost I paid. I bought that carb from Ken G for $150 which was a great deal and if I was trying to make money like you and Herb I could have sold it for $250, but no I sold it on the board so someone else could get a great deal. The fuel line did not fit in the box and it actually cost me more to send it separately because my shipping department at work made a mistake. I don't own the company I work at I've just been here for 20 yrs so I have them box parts up for me if I'm selling them for me or my Buddy's. I still have to pay for shipping from my personal account. I due all kinds of business on this board not only do I buy parts for me and my Buddy's that live out here in California. Right now Ken at Everyday Performance is building me up a 1910 Qjet Carb. Jim Weise has a set of Eddelbrock Heads that are being ported and a CV fuel pump of mine. Monzaz on the board at JD race just built up a nice posi and gears that I purchased last month and Scott and Competition Components just built me up some custom forged 350 pistons that we are putting in my Buddy's Cj7 Jeep. You guys have started all this crap just because Herb thought I was trying to get some 350 headers. Get real! He said if the first guy passes he will contact who's next. He contacted me asking if I wanted to see pictures. I had no idea Herb didn't pass. Going forward you guys will never buy another part from me or any of the 8 buddy's that I have out here who are building Buick's. You both are bad business men who throw false accusations around. I give credit to the seller for doing the right thing. Your personal attacks are unappreciated and unfounded. I have not attacked you just provided the supporting paper trail to my claim. You got caught apologize and move on. If you need them so bad your willing to jeopardize your reputation I'll buy them for you. Your name is worth more than a set of headers
Herb I don't care what you appreciate. They headers weren't for me anyway they were for my buddy. You just make up crap so you can keep hoarding parts to make a profit. This Buick car thing is an enjoyment for me and my friends its a business for you. I won't be hurting because I have a real job that pays real good so I don't need to steal headers from under you.
