Hi there can anyone help with mounting bolt and dowel pattern dimensions from crankshaft centre for transmission mounting area on the back of the block on a 350?

    Many thanks

I know you can use a SBC flywheel if you oval one of the bolt holes and add a balance weight. I have one on my 340.

As far as the bellhousing patten, that is the old BOP pattern and it shares the locating pins and I think maybe 4 bolt locations with the SBC bell. There are adapter plates 1/8" thick available.

Hi Jim thanks for your response. It is the X Y dimensions I need though, from the crank centre line from the original engineering drawings if possible.

It's the BOPC bolt pattern. Best I could find.

Hi Larry. Well you just can't get better than that! You've saved me a load of time with a coordinate measuring arm. Thanks, all the best.
    Kind regards

"Chevy" and "BOP" share the dowel pin locations, and the lowest bolt holes. The holes above the dowels are in different places.
