Anyone here use Bring a Trailer to sell a car? Would it be a good place to sell my 67 Riv? Does it need to be approved? Is it a place to get top dollar or people looking for bargains?
I don't want to regret the amount of money I get on the sale THIS TIME. Sold many a vehicle for too little money so on top of the loss of the vehicle there is the money..... People will say whatever you get is what it is worth but I feel there is a big spread depending on WHERE you sell and how the car is prepared/presented. Also some people want originality but others want everything re-done and turn key.....
Have gone way over and above on prep and presentation on a car I currently have for sale and for the asking price its a really nice car. Have had it listed for over a yr with little to no interest. So, if its a desirable car a buyer will step up and pay your price. If not you will have to take less than you want or just sit on it until that one guy see's it. Like they say "there's an ass for every seat" For me, as long as I make a profit Im happy. More is better but sometimes just moving the car along to get onto a new project is ok too.
