    Welcome dspeece.

    >There isn't a comprehensive wire diagram yet for this implementation Arduino w/Atmega328 chip. (the MicroChip PIC16f684 chip setup is currently in the car). This project with Arduino has connections documented in the code and the aftermarket harness has a pin-out diagram so as long you are experienced in wiring and circuitry you can put the two together.

    > The 4L60e solenoid sequence is inverted from the 4L80e. If you search the forum you can find the document I wrote. To sum it up, if you command a 4L80e to engage 4th this would command 1st on a 4L60e. Making the appropriate change in set up is extremely easy/trivial.

    > You are correct about my car not being EFI - My goal was not to convert to EFI, but to limit upgrades to the car selectively - imho everyone has an LS (boring) even I have an LS (but in my Tahoe). I do have an old Holley EFI kit for the Riviera but the car runs, drives and performs just fine without so maybe some day... As it sits it can still hold its own against most cars on the road and that is impressive for +40 year old engine tech (carb, points, etc)

    > Tapping into the TPS and MAP sensor should be easy you can tap the wires at the sensors or anywhere along to the ECM. But. Sensing the voltages does depend on the circuit you are going to use to detect the signals without causing issues for the ECM.

I bought some terminal blocks today that will be soldered into the PCB and the wire traces shown in the prior post's pictures (the green and yellow wires.) The terminal blocks will be used to directly connect to the factory 4L80e harness in the car today.

I also found a spare instrument cluster on ebay to modify - I think I want to simply place all things behind the instrument cluster and make it easily removable for repairs or modifications as needed.

Wow. Found my older thread. Nothing to add, I actually cheated and bought a used aftermarket TCM. Still installing at the moment. We'll see how it does. The older unit is out therfore no more computer mouse to act as a paddle shifter :(
