He pulled up next to me!!! I didn't do a thing!!!! I swear! :eek2: I was already in my room  and looked out the window and there was that beautiful car!!!! :beer I'm always full of "foot-in-mouth" comments! Keeps things hopping on this board! :Comp:
I presume your street tires are radials. The biggest problem with (non-drag) radials is that you cant get the water off with a quick burnout. Ideally you need to drive around the waterbox and just do a light spin to get the debris off the tires. This is impossible to do at Temple (driving around the water box) so you are screwed there. Either you have a worn out posi or an open carrier. With an open carrier, the tire with least resistance will be the one to spin. Ben
Yeah, I haven't had a chance to scan in my time slip just yet. It will be on my website soon. I think I heard the term used..what happens in Temple stays in Temple... Thanks for all the nice comments about the car guys and gals, it now has over 30000 miles on it though. As it sits in the garage now, it is a 30,100 mile car!!! Oh well, I never plan to own a car I don't drive and have fun with...the highway is waiting... :3gears:
Yeah, sure. What happens in Temple stays in Temple. :Brow: Someone should have told Josh!!!!     Quote: Originally Posted by '71buickg.s. i like this one of me and you, dee, you won, but only cuz i cut a .4XX light... you still ran a sloooower time! i think it was 17 something Me: You aren't suppose to mention the 17!!! That's ONLY after I died in the middle of the track, had to put it in park, restart it, give it some gas, put it in drive, and GET ON IT!!
Not to my knowledge...besides beer and good conversation by the barbeque pit amongst all us 'Great Western In' Motel people. But, I think someone said that in regards to the cops coming out the year before from the party getting wild at the motel!!! I wasn't there for that one. o No:
Yup, street radials. I was checking out the water box action, they weren't putting hardly any water in during the streetcar runs, but apparently the little bit left over was enough. Now, I can just see myself trying to convince Linda that we NEED some racing tires! Me on the left -> :spank: Open rear end, so I'm not surprised at the wheelspin, just which one was spinning. o No: I NEED to get a posi!!!
The best time ran by a buick was 10.65 If kerry Bell could have got a few more passes in to get his combination dialed in he would have ran a low 10 or maybe a high 9. As For the race rain cancelled it out during the first round but we still had a great time During time trials and BBQ Here is Kerry's skylark.
Is there something wrong with my computer????!!!! I see a picture of a part of something that was broke off in shipping on another thread! It's not a car! o No: This is the second picture that I have seen that doesn't match the thread! Have we been hacked or am I nuts?????
I see Kerry's car, but in Phil's photo thread I see Nick-in-California's 300 instead of what's supposed to be there... Edit-It's right now, but it was a 300 from when it was posted until just now!!!!
I see the Door latches I posted on another thread from a few weeks ago. Tell me what you see when you open this link http://www.v8buick.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=43328&stc=1
I'd bet your browser cache is full. Clean it out or use another browser... I use Firefox and it is great... Frank
What is that? I only have a computer here at work, so don't want to mess with things too much and get in trouble.
