Up for sale is a set of polished 350 capscrew-style connecting rods with a set of brand new (out of the package) ARP rod bolts. I had the bolts finger tightened in the rods so I could get weights, but they've never been torqued, and they come with ARP install instructions & assembly lube. I'm asking $160 + shipping OBO. (I'd also separate them- $90 + shipping for the rods & $85 + shipping for the bolts.) I'd also consider trading for other Buick 350 performance/aftermarket parts, Saginaw 4 speed (no line) trans, Buick 350 flywheel, '78 Regal parts, etc.
Just curious what the polishing does for these rods? I mean they sure look pretty but nobody will ever see them.
The most important function it serves is to remove the casting seams. They’re heat risers, and are more susceptible to cracking.
Price is OBO. I'm also willing to work out a trade for other Buick 350 performance/aftermarket parts, Saginaw 4 speed (no line) trans, Buick 350 flywheel, '78 Regal parts, etc.
