"MCB all new technologically advanced Matrix Ceramic Brake Shoes will outperform any over the counter brake shoes 2 to 1. MCB Matrix Ceramic Brake Shoes are less detrimental to the drums, require less pedal effort and less fade giving a more positive braking result in shorter stopping distances. For maximum performance and stopping power, order both front & rear. Stage-I is a direct replacement and is sold per axle set (2 wheels)."

I used autozone on mine. stopped plenty good into the upper 10s in the 1320 at just under 120mph

If you are looking for QUALITY from AutoZone -- you've gone to the wrong place.... Their entire inventory is made in China, of course...
I get their oil when it is on sale and comes with a free
    Egg roll.

I bought mine from Muscle Car Brakes. May have paid too much, but did get new cylinders and springs.
They sure stop the car though. I have tried them from high speed and like the results. Had I known about MCB, I probably would have bought them.

I never said they were best, I'm sure there are lots better, but after racing almost 25 years with drum brakes I more than likely have more 100+ mph stops on a set of shoes than most......and when I was younger and race 2 and 3 nights a week I would put 350+ passes on in a year and I only had to replace them twice after the initial install. took them in the exchanged no questioned.

and I didnt have a line lock so the rears got rolled on in the burn out

now my 100+mph stops didnt have to be on a dime and there was normally ample cooling time. but the end results do speak

Rock auto has many on closeout right now. I got Raybestos from them a few years ago. They stop well, in traffic and at the track.
