all new front end/brakes, ( went from drum to disc) new rear cyl ,shoes, springs. new front assy came with prop valve, Located on the frame is a distribution valve? with elect connection????? got great front brakes, just a dribble from rear brakes, (I DID ADJ SHOES CORRECTLY) bought the tool for prop valve, used a pick to center the prop valve, installed the tool, bled everything, still only getting a dribble from the rear, no bubbles,( have run 1 quart thru the master cyl) car was drum, what the dist valve on the frame? and it causing my head ache? bleeding by assistant pushing pedal, ( did try vacuum bleeding, but got near nothing!)
How about your rear hose? Did you replace that? They typically look good on the outside but break down on the inside. Disconnect a steel line at the rear end and see if you get fluid.
ordered a rear rubber brake line, (small town, autozone is king here) prior to doing the front upgrade, pedal was very hard, and brakes were minimal. thinking back , all starts to fit in now, I believe the rubber /rear line may be culprit! ( hoping so) bought this car in Oct,, so history is unknown ,
replaced the rear rubber hose, then bled the system, using prop valve tool, pedal is good, and seems to have resolved my issues, I checked the old hose, it is slightly swollen, thanks for the suggestions and help!
