I have everything removed around the booster but i am stuck with the last thing. I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the push rod from the pedal. I have tried pulling it, prying it, lubricating it and nothing works. Any tips here? Do i need to remove the whole pedal assembly (which wont be fun either)?

nevermind -- i got it. For anyone searching for the answer, you must side out some of the top pedal bolt which will loosen the tension on the pedal enough for the eyelet to slide out easily. Dont remove it as it is a total bitch to get back in there -- taking it half way out is more than enough to provide the slack on the pedal you need.

Or, you could have just pulled the booster out some from the firewall & slipped it slightly to the side & it would ALSO have come off.
