Hi Everyone, does anyone know of a brake booster/master cylinder combo that will work with drum or disc brakes? I have a 72 GS350 and would like to switch from my power drum brakes to disc brakes sometime in the future. My master cylinder is shot, so I was hoping to find a combo that is good for both types of brakes so I could keep the drums on for now and switch to disc later without buying another booster/cylinder combo later. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Disc brake master cylinders are different in a few ways from Drum brake master cylinders. The boosters you will find are the same for either drum or disc. My advice is to get another drum brake MC, they aren't that expensive.
