I wanted to take a moment to fill in the folks here on my son and I experience purchasing Randy's' 72 Flame Orange 72 Buick GS 455. I had posted a Wanted Ad on V8 Buick looking for a 70-72 GS 455. Randy responded with a very comprehensive description with a ton of pictures. We continued to have a rolling conversation in regard to the car, logicitics, and funds transfer. The car arrived today, and it was better than described. The condition overall is excellent, and the Buick has had tender loving care from Randy for over 14 years. It is really a sharp machine. The irony here is that the GS was built at the Framingham Mass. plant (where I worked from 1972-74) and that plant is only 15 minutes from where I live. The GS has returned home after 47 years away!. I may have worked on that very car. Randy Lutz is a super honest and quality individual who made the transaction easy. He was 100% honest and forthright at every step of the way. It was great to make his acquaintance, and I have a new Buick blood brother for life. Thanks Randy...change your avatar....
Thanks Paul. Both you and Andrew were a pleasure to deal with. I really don't feel the car could have gone to a better place. Nothing like closing the circle and bringing it home. As I told you, I did not want to sell the car, but because of unfortunate circumstances beyond my control, I felt it best for a clean start. We have a lasting bond that transcends the car transaction. Can I keep the avatar for a while, as I still love that car? Cheers Randy
Car is awesome, and the bottom looks just as good. Randy was an outstanding caretaker, and we will follow in his footsteps.
