I got a "Boss Hog" converter new in the box with my recently acquired 455/TH400. Anyone know if they're any good? Reciept was with it from 1991, just says item #3TOOCB 47013. I was told it's a 3500 stall, looks like a 10" converter. Company was Alabama Converter Corporation. I never heard of these before, any ideas? Thanks, Artie

This is what it says about Alabama Converter Corporation "In 1997 the torque converter division was sold to Automotive Global Technologies LTD of Reno, Nevada. The new owner renamed the newly purchased company, ACC Performance and moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama. It is still a thriving business". This might help you.
