    Hi Frank -

    Some things were different.

I'd hold out for a 1972 book. Auto literature places sell them (I also think Year One has the assembly manual reprints), and I know you can get them on CD. They are definitely around!

Going for the three 'bibles' for your new acquisition?

PS - How's it running :Brow:

    ...

Marco..I have the 72 manual...came with it...but was thrown in a bucket and blue window juice soaked it good...pages falling apart like wet toilet paper...

..need some reference for my core support project...thats all the car needs....might take the whole front clip off so I can detail and repaint engine and its nest area

...the driveline is great..orig 75k miles.good compression...zero oil leaks...trans shifts quick..trans seems recently rebuilt...it has point ignition....have 2 stick an hei in....and I have a feeling it has posi..have 2 check for sure though...but it feels good on launch...and it chirps them tires while rolling out of 2nd gear if needed.....:eek2: ...have had many cars in the past..but impressed with this gs for being all stock and the lower hp 72 motor...unless the last owner did some hp add-ons..cam,head work....his son that sold it....knew basicly nothing of its history for the 13 years his father had it..

my neighbor is peed off...he has a chevelley...last nite I asked him if he wants 2 take it around the block...he said..."no thanks"....(he is peed) his chevelley is not getting any attention.....
