I am putting up for sale my intake. This intake will only fit Stage 1 or 2 tall port heads.
I was running a well ported SPX and wanted to try something different.
The SPX has been on the car for a few years so I had a very good baseline on which to try the new intake.
This is my first try and my goal was for the car to et & mph the same or better than with the SPX.
I did the swap intake only, keeping everything else the same as to compare apples to apples.
I only made 4 passes and the result was the car did not go slower, I consider it a success since it looks BAD ASS.
Now to answer some questions that might arise:
Q: what does it flow?
A: don't know did not flow it.
Q: will it make more power?
A: I would think so with some testing and tuning
I did not get any time to test and it was the last day I ran the car this year
Q: what carb were you running?
A: Quickfuel 1050. Probably not enough.
Q: Why am I selling?
A: Because I installed Stage 4 heads so I need to make another one to fit and I hate to just have this sit on the shelf.
Q: how much?
A: $2500. If you came to me and asked me to make you one, it would cost $4000

Let us know when you have the stage 4 intake done. I would be interesred to see the results . since I spent nearly 2500 to do my SpX for Stage 4 heads

I believe the ports are the same,but you might want to double check with TA or Jim Weise

 

Stage 3 and the TE heads are the same intake runners
