Hanging out in the Big Spring Texas area for a few months it seems. I know there are/were a few members in the area when I was here last, about 11 years ago. Just seeing if there are any car shows or cruise nights going on. Like in Midland, Odessa, or any other events I should know about.
I had a relative there who was actually the Sheriff. We are talking way back in the 1930’s I think. Still have relatives there but lost contact with them since my father died. Always wanted to visit. Post some pictures if you can.
We are over east in DFW. We left midland in 09 when the oilfield took a dip so I'm not sure of much out there.
The 3rd Saturday of the month a bunch of cars meet at Texas Burger/Mr Gattis Pizza parking lot in Midland on Waddle Ave Then there is a big car show Greentree Country Club every July 4th, but the gentleman that headed that show up retired and moved so don’t know if it’s still happening. You might check in at auto parts stores and see if anyone post up flyers. There is a 1/8 mile track here at Abilene and a 1/4 mile track at Penwell 10 miles west of Odessa on I20 also a 1/4 track at Wall near San Angelo
Don, You still in the Midland area? If I remember right back then I met up with you and possible a Roys? I believe I also bought a few parts off one of the guys in the area.
