1972 Buick GS Stage1 convertible orange We negotiated a deal and had agreed on a number following new year. He told me that he had several people contact him about the car and I was taking too much time getting the information from Sloan museum (they Brittany was out for holiday weekend) So I offered to place a deposit to show my seriousness and hold car until the deal was concluded. He jumped at that so I sent him $500.00 via walmart service (cash). The deal fell apart yesterday when he insisted the only way he would transfer the car to Horseless carriage carriers was if I wired the remaineded 27.5K dollars FIRST and he had it in hand (cash). I disagreed and told him that the car would be verified as received by Horsless and I would complete the wire transfer. This went back and forth and finally I told him the deal was off. (yesterday). He has just sent me a txt message that he refuses to return my $500 it was "non-refundable" The fact is it was never required or documented I por-offered to hold the car pending an agreement. Buyer beware I am out 500 but glad to not have to deal with this person anymore.
