17's look nice and have good sidewall height, if you go 17's you can go with Kore3 brackets and LS1 fbody brakes or Corvette brakes, or the cpp c5 brake kit is a killer deal at $650

With 15's there just are many upgrades, other than good USA made disc and the oversize d52 calipers

I like what that system says about not offsetting the wheels past stock. I’ve already gone as far out on the front as I can go. Seems like a decent deal too.

I put Wilwood 2 piston D52 replacement calipers with EBC pads (red) and rotors in the front. In the rear I have ceramic shoes. Best money spent for the driving I do. Only problem could be clearance with the rally wheels. One didn’t clear so I had to add a 1/8” spacer to both sides. Will be buying new rims and tires once the tires wear out or become too old.

For what its worth I had 2 wheels that had a bit more generous weld bead on the inside of the rim that drug on the D52 calipers. About 5 min with a wizzer wheel and a couple test fits and now all 4 wheels can go to whatever corner they happen to go to.

Wilwood D52 calipers on 12” rotors, with 15x4 wheels. I had to move my wheel weights because they were real close. Otherwise they clear.

I did the ls1 f body brake upgrades. I like having a hat style rotor and easy to find replacement parts. I got my brackets from BRP hotrods.
I run 17"wheels with no issues.
I also adapted the f body booster and master cylinder to fit without too much difficulty.
