Need some advice on repairing the bottom back of my seats on my skylark.
The car has very nice original interior, but the seams are starting to come on done and afraid they will get worse . 20181014_160255.jpg 20181014_160227.jpg

The covers must be removed in order to repair your seats.

The threads get weak and break even though the vinyl is OK. The vinyl might be dried out however and pulling on the holes could cause it to tear, so you might get some push back from an upholster. In what part of WV are you?

Could he use some adhesives to glue the bottom together where the threads came loose.. Just an idea so he won't have to pull the covers

He is going to get maybe one chance to fix it for a long run. This requires removal. The shop can tell you if they need some new vinyl for a replacement panel. If the shop cannot get the correct stuff, SMS auto fabrics will likely have it.

Have you check some guy on YouTube his name is something like chefalaco on utube, he is mexican..

The dude has the best upholstery videos hands down on the planet.

You got to watch his videos before you put some money in someone elses hand

Thanks Ronnie ,but I'm probably going to check with the guy 12lives turned me on to.I googled the guy,he is probably about 70 miles from me,I allways try to do as much work on my cars as I can,but would like to have A professional fix it,like flynbuick said I probably only have one shot at fixing it right.
