I’m replacing my Holley avenger to a R. Q-jet and I would like a new throttle return spring.
There are lots of springs out there, but it would be fun to get one with the right feeling.

    Which one would you recommend?

The safest play is to install a compound spring.

Thinking; like how it was new from factory or what the majority use today.

Throttle returns springs can be tricky. Your right foot will know when it feels right. Not too soft and not too stiff.

For safety, its best to run 2 springs. Sometimes you can "stretch out" a spring to soften the tension.

We offer a softer dual inner spring to help fine tune the "feel".

I forgot to add linkage type, rods , bushings, washers, pedal, carpet, cable , wear and lube of all pivots, could make an ideal spring feel like crap

Just received this spring as my backup. So far so good!
