I have the following parts; 1968 - 430 engine. 1975-76 - 800cfm Quadrajet. 1978 - TH400 from a Cadillac. I’m missing the parts making the kickdown work and I wonder what I should look for. I would prefer original parts as first choice. But pictures on Google confuses me. Did 75-76 Buick use a wire solution for their kickdown?
From reading about the kick down it appears the switch is under the dash on the gas pedal on the big cars. Maybe look up under the dash on yours and see what is there. Might already have one and needs replaced or adjusted.
