Im really tired of spilling gasoline in my garage. I can’t find a good funnel. They don’t let you pull your car up to the pump. Need to buy and fill can. I buy the new plastic can. And the leak all over the place. Arrgghhhh

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

    Steve.

I have found "repurposing" smaller containers as funnels for bigger containers one of the best solutions to the solutions problem.

I use one quart gear oil bottles cut off the top about 1-2 inches from the "funnel" edge and use them for radiator fill, oil filler funnel, and power steering as well as for pouring things back into one gallon bottles (like coolant after draining for putting back in the radiator when I am finished with the reason for draining it in the first place). Also use the small ones for filling the mower and pouring gas from a 5 gallon can (ethanol free) into a 1 gallon can to make filling the pressure washer and mower easier and no spillage.

I use a 5/8 ID hose and the "gear oil funnel" with the gear oil spout cut larger hole size and the "ribs" on the spout hold the rubber hose and I use that to put fuel in the gas tank (behind the license plate).

    And so forth.

Gallon jugs make good funnels for filling gas cans.

Best of all, they are free and endless supply.

I hate the gas container spouts...

Good job quitting. It's a tough thing to do. Keep up the good work.

Try to not be so quick to react as far as what our Buick brethren have to say. We are all here to help each other. We may interpret things differently and read things differently than what was written. That's the beauty of the internet.
