I am in the process of restoring my 1970 GS455. I am going the resto mod / pro touring build. The body is at the shop getting metal work done. I am the point to decide on the flooring coating and wanted some recomendations.

I don't know about 70's but when I did my 67 I stripped the factory undercoat & repainted the floors a low sheen black as they appeared. Looks great to me & easy to touch up should it be needed.

On my dad's 70 GS we painted underneath the same color as the car.

I was thinking about using the Lizard Skin products. Has anyone used them?

My underside is spray truck bed liner, including wheel wells. Floor pans inside are just primer
